Acting Chairperson At this point Cr Speedie noted that due to her conflicts of interest an acting Chairperson would need to be elected for items 8.9 and 9.2. Cr Speedie asked for nominations for the position of acting Chairperson when items 8.9 and 9.2 were before the meeting. Cr Quilty nominated Cr Hall, and the nomination was seconded by Cr Bennett. There were no other nominations. In the absence of any other nominations the Mayor declared Cr Hall elected to the position of acting Chairperson for items 8.9 and 9.2 on the agenda.
